This part generally applies to the navigation data of users visiting the site.
he Luigi Einaudi ONLUS Foundation is the owner of the processing of personal data and the publisher (so-called publisher) of this website and assumes all responsibilities regarding the processing of data, including their protection.
It can be contacted at its registered and operational headquarters in Via Principe Amedeo n ° 34 in Turin (TO) or at the following addresses:
Telephone: +39 011 835 656;

Except as described in the specific section, usually the personal data of a generic user who merely browses the pages as a visitor are processed only to carry out the IT technical operations necessary to establish, maintain, monitor and manage the communication between the terminal used by the concerned and the infrastructure on which the site physically resides.
Therefore, personal data are processed for purposes strictly related to those activities of the correct management of the site, in order to offer a good browsing experience.
In no case the navigation data are subject to an automated decision-making process, nor to profiling.
In principle, the owner reserves the right to carry out further processing to protect its legitimate interests (for example, the protection of the corporate and personal image, IT security or its assets, including intellectual property).
It is undisputed that even third parties involved in the operation of the site can protect their legitimate interests in the manner provided.
The data is processed using exclusively IT methods suitable for preventing its loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access, in order to guarantee their security and confidentiality.
The processing can also be carried out with the aid of IT tools designed to store, manage and transmit the data, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes set.
The logic applied to data processing is based on three aspects: qualitative, quantitative and aggregative.
The quality profile mainly allows the identification of the user as a visitor or potential customer and his requests, followed by the necessary activities to respond in the most appropriate way.
The quantitative profile allows you to observe the number of access to the site and to one or more services by each user and all users.
The aggregative profile consists in the possibility of creating reporting elements that relate, in a depersonalized form, the elements obtained with the first two logics, showing us the relationship between qualitative and quantitative data.
Except as described in the specific sections, as a rule, as already mentioned in the description of navigation data, personal data is collected automatically by the IT infrastructure from the moment the user connects to our site.
Except as described in the specific section for those who decide to contact the Foundation directly at the addresses indicated or through the forms provided, in general the provision of navigation data is absolutely optional, but strictly necessary to establish and maintain the connection with the site. which, otherwise, could not happen. In this regard, please refer to the following section "Navigation data".
Except as described in the specific section for those who decide to contact the Foundation directly at the addresses indicated or through the forms provided, the site generally processes navigation data automatically.
The computer systems and software used to operate the website acquire, automatically and during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of communication protocols on the Internet.
This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with other data, also held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes, for example, the IP address, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc. ) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
These data are used for the sole purpose of allowing navigation in its technical notion and obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
The site currently uses technical cookies and anonymized analytical cookies, which have a persistence duration in the user's terminal which is limited to a single browsing session on the site. Therefore, there are no other types of cookies or other tracking tools.
It is possible to disable cookies, in whole or in part, by choosing the parameters of your browser.
Except as described in the specific section for those who decide to contact the Foundation directly at the addresses indicated or through the forms provided, in principle, personal data are communicated only to those responsible or in charge of processing; in particular, for technical reasons, the subjects involved in the processing - in addition to the owner - are the various service providers related to the overall management of the website.
It is also possible that your data will be communicated to the supervisory bodies and to the public authorities, in the manner and in the times in which this is required by current legislation.
Finally, it should be noted that through the appropriate hypertext links, the user can access third-party sites, or enter an IT environment that is no longer the responsibility of the Luigi Einaudi ONLUS Foundation. This occurs with particular reference to the social networks Facebook (here more information www.facebook.com/policy.php), Linkedin (here more information www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy- policy) and Twitter (here more information twitter.com/en/privacy), to the platform for donations via PayPal (here more information www.paypal.com/it/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full), to the system for searching and consulting the book material on the EBSCO platform (here more information www.ebsco.com/it-it/gdpr) and the booking system for which please refer to the specific section.
Normally, data processed through the website are not transferred to non-EU countries.
However, this can only happen if the user uses the EBSCO platform (here more information www.ebsco.com/it-it/gdpr) to carry out bibliographic searches. This transfer is necessary for the execution of a specific request of the interested party, if he intends to consult the library material of the Foundation in compliance with the regulations of the Foundation itself.
Except as described in the specific section for those who decide to contact the Foundation directly at the addresses indicated or through the forms provided, in general the Data Controller does not directly store the technical navigation data, which are instead stored by the hosting service provider, in the methods and for the times provided for by the relevant legislation.
As for cookies, however, they are kept limited to the browsing session.
As for the data relating to the messages that the user will send through the appropriate contact forms, they are kept for an indefinite period of time, but functional to process the forwarded request.
In addition to receiving this information and having a treatment based on principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency, through treatments that have limited and well-identified purposes, that are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to these purposes, and that allow and guarantee that the data are - for as long as they are kept - accurate, intact and kept confidential, the interested party has the right to ask the data controller to access personal data and to correct or delete them or limit them of the processing or to oppose it, in addition to the right to data portability.
Furthermore, limited to the treatments authorized through specific consent, the interested party has the right to revoke this manifestation of his will at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation. Here it should be remembered that it is not necessary to request or give consent when filling out the contact form, since the processing of data is limited to the sole processing of the forwarded request, nor for the use of cookies, as they are present. only the anonymized technical and analytical ones, nor on the occasion of the transmission of information and material to participate in the scholarship calls. Conversely, consent is required to subscribe to the newsletter service.
Finally, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy, you can contact the Guarantor for the protection of personal data (the Privacy Guarantor). More details on www.garanteprivacy.it.
The Luigi Einaudi ONLUS Foundation implements, through its website, three particular treatments: the reservation of seats in the library and books, the collection of documentation relating to the calls for the disbursement of scholarships and the sending of information and communications.
For bookings of seats in the library, the Foundation uses the service provided by Affluences s.a.s. (French company), through the Affluences smartphone application and the website www.affluences.com (here more information affluences.com/data-use-policy).
In this context, therefore, the personal data necessary to make the reservation of the place in the library are processed, i.e. those strictly necessary to provide the best consultation service, with specific regard to the contingency of presences inside the premises for health reasons. and safety of personnel and users.
These data are kept for the time necessary to reserve and keep the seat in the library reserved.
For book bookings, however, the Foundation only processes the data necessary for booking the work that the user intends to consult during the session he has booked, namely his name and the title of the work of interest.
Please note that the two reservations must be made through different channels and are not necessarily related to each other.
Failure to reserve a seat in the library will preclude access to the Foundation's premises, while failure to reserve the book may result in its non-immediate availability for the applicant.
Periodically, the Foundation issues selection calls for the provision of scholarships.
The website represents the only tool for the transmission of the necessary and foreseen documentation for participation and, in the periods indicated by the individual calls, activates a specific section of the site that acts as a portal for the delivery of said material.
At this juncture, therefore, all the data necessary for participation in the calls will also be processed, which include, among others and by way of example and not exhaustive, the name and identity documents, information relating to the academic curriculum, the works submitted for evaluation. of the Foundation Committees.
These data are communicated to the internal bodies of the Foundation for proper administrative and accounting management and for the appropriate evaluation and are substantially mandatory, as defined in the individual calls.
Their conservation is limited to the period necessary for the evaluation of the work with which the competition for the scholarship is contested and, in any case, does not exceed the deadline of the reference calendar year.
To those who voluntarily decide to subscribe to the service, the Foundation can send, at the address indicated, communications of an informative nature on institutional activities.
In this context, the data are processed only with prior consent and for an indefinite period of time, it being understood that the interested party always has the possibility to withdraw his consent and unsubscribe from the list of recipients.
The Foundation makes its book heritage available in digital format through the EBSCO platform (more information here www.ebsco.com), based outside the European Union. In order to carry out searches and consultations, therefore, the user is redirected to the external site and will be asked to register; only users authorized by the Foundation will be able to consult the material, in compliance with the terms of service and internal regulations.
The personal data relating to the authorized profiles are kept by the Foundation until their revocation due to the forfeiture of the conditions on which they had been previously approved.
